Volunteer with The Auxiliary
Our volunteers play an important role in helping us raise funds, support programs, and enhance the experience of patients, visitors, and staff.
Our volunteers are the backbone of the Auxiliary, dedicating time and energy to helping patients, their families and staff alike in the gift shops, medical shop, through various fundraising initiatives, and in supporting the administration and leadership of the Auxiliary itself. Supported by a small but mighty staff, the volunteers come from all walks of life across eastern Ontario and western Quebec.
Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year and may include retail operations, special events, communications and marketing activities, special programs, fundraising initiatives, and other support roles.

Requirements:
Be 16 years old or older, though opportunities for volunteers younger than 18 are limited.
Commit to volunteering with the Auxiliary for no less than eight months. Cottagers and snowbirds are welcome.
Accept one shift of three to four hours per week if volunteering at one of the three hospital shops.
Have access to a computer and computer skills, to work remotely, if supporting the Auxiliary administration and leadership.
Have the desire to always provide excellent customer service.
